Hey there, I'm joining a candlelight vigil for climate action in Collingwood and I'd love you to come. The events are simple, short and dignified - and ours is one of thousands taking place all across the world to demand a strong global climate treaty. Co

About Me:

I am on tour…..I have become a gourmet raw food chef,  and I am periodically collecting some money working in Northern Ontario as a doctor.  I am joining  the adult racing league at my ski club for the winter, going off to California to take more courses in Raw Food Nutrition in March.  I am  taking a natural building course in the spring and then heading  back home with Rosie to the end of the road to see if I can grow a cafe and wellness center…..in North West River Labrador.

I have a new green house there that feels more like a cathedral….. and I think about it whimsically…… it has been a long time that I have been away from my beautiful space for this long….. I am planning tomatoes and zucchinis, and wondrous herbs….and dreaming of a community that has aways been a little out of sight, but feels closer, closer like the breath of an invisible lover….. oh, how I long for this…..

I am learning about  slow money…….slow investments…… I wonder how the economy really works.  I often think about the saying, 'dirty hands make clean money'……. I like the book The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck.  I read it when I was in Grade 9, a million years ago…. the earth economy is ultimately the one that counts, no matter how stuffed we might get as humans.

My boys have left home but I hope they will join me in April in England when we learn to build an earthship…….it seems that I might as well action out the dream plan…….and go for it….  I am going to take a small business course over the winter as well…. I am going to become an entrepreneur, though it is probably the one thing  for which I have the least aptitude, well, er, except for learning new languages….

I am having fun, and I love this world…..

love to all.
Jane
